Round Seven of the British Superbike Championship.
At the halfway stage of the 2004 series, Dunlop shod machines continue their success as they lead the British Championship class on the BSB calendar.
Once again Dunlop will endeavour to maintain its racing success rate at Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit this coming weekend.
With nine British Superbike victories from twelve starts, and their success in 125 and 250cc Grand Prix classes Dunlop rubber has an established track record.
However, Dunlop can not afford to become complacent with this early domination of the Championship, there is a French threat looming in the shape of Michael Rutter, on his HM Plant Honda shod, with rubber from across the English Channel.
The Dunlop engineers have a wealth of information from previous visits to Brands and this will be put to good use in the specification of tyres for the event. With the weather predicted to be considerably cooler than of late, tyre choice is going to be a very interesting scenario as the weekend unfolds.
