Round Eight “THINK” British Superbike Championship
Fife sees the eighth round of the British Superbike Championship this weekend, which will be held at the Knockhill Circuit. After a disappointing seventh round, Dunlop Motorsport believes to be “well prepared for all eventualities.”
Following a poor second race at Brands Hatch, Rizla Suzuki’s John Reynolds has dropped off the leader board. However he emerged from round seven having increased his championship lead to 29 points.
Rival, Michael Rutter also had a disappointing day on his HM Plant Honda, with Monstermob Ducati’s Sean Emmett gathering momentum in third place.
The Knockhill circuit is one of the shortest on the calendar, the challenge will come from the hill top climate and the tight, adverse camber bends.
Dunlop’s Phil Plater, said: “Knockhill is a circuit where we have a good success record .We are looking forward to adding more podiums to our list this weekend.”
