Dunlop Shapes Things to Come
The technique behind Dunlop’s latest innovation is simple but effective; the lettering from the upper sidewall region of the tyre has been removed and the buttress area has been smoothed. This allows the tyre to cut through the air thus reducing the drag of your car whilst offering a quieter ride.
Geraldine McGovern, brand manager for Dunlop said: “As well as the increased aerodynamic performance the SP 30 has everything you would want in a tyre and would expect from Dunlop. Our research has shown that over 70% of customers want tyres that perform particularly well in the wet and experience very short braking distances. Furthermore, over 50% won’t compromise on comfort to get the driving experience that you expect.”
