SmarTire launches G2 active tyre pressure monitoring for bikes

SmarTire Systems Inc. has announced that it has launched its second generation active tyre pressure monitoring system for motorcycles at the 2004 Dealer Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana. SmarTire’s motorcycle product is an active tyre pressure and temperature monitoring system that provides real-time tyre information to the rider while the bike is in motion.

At a push of the button, the SmarTire system displays each tyre’s pressure, temperature and pressure deviation. If the system detects a loss of air pressure or abnormally high tyre temperature, an ultra- bright warning light automatically alerts the rider to the condition..
