New Bridgestone logistics centre outside Paris
ProLogis, a leading global provider of distribution facilities and services, today announced that it has signed a build-to-suit lease agreement with Bridgestone, one of the world’s largest tire manufacturers. Bridgestone currently leases 219,104 square feet (20,355 m2) from ProLogis in Indianapolis.
“Bridgestone is a world-renowned manufacturer and distributor of tires, and we are pleased to provide them with a world-class facility that serves their needs in this market,” said Ranald Hahn, managing director for ProLogis Southern Europe. “This new facility, along with the Bridgestone facility already leased in the United States, is an example of the type of multi-continent relationships we are building with companies of Bridgestone’s caliber.”
Construction is expected to be completed in September 2004. Evry Park is located near Paris at the intersection of the A6 Paris-Lyon Motorway and Francilienne Outer Ring Road.
