Hayes Lemmerz Names Patrick C. Cauley Vice President

Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc. announced the appointment of Patrick C. Cauley to the position of Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Cauley, who was serving as the Company’s Interim General Counsel, will continue to report to Curtis Clawson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Clawson commented, “Pat has done a fine job as Interim General Counsel. He is dedicated, watches details, and earns trust. I am sure he will do a great job in this role.”

Cauley joined Hayes Lemmerz as Assistant General Counsel in 1999. Prior to this appointment, he served as a Partner at the Detroit-based law firm of Bodman, Longley & Dahling, LLP where he engaged in all aspects of corporate practice, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending and financing, tax and real estate transactions. Patrick Cauley earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting and his Juris Doctor degree, from the University of Michigan. Cauley is also a Certified Public Accountant.
