ThyssenKrupp Deepens Ties With Alfred Herbert

ThyssenKrupp Elastomertechnik GmbH, the world’s largest manufacturer of tyre machinery and a part of the Euro 35 billion ThyssenKrupp group, has deepened its alliance with the RS Lodha-managed Alfred Herbert India Ltd by signing an additional technical collaboration agreement.

The new agreement is for manufacture of the ‘column type hydraulic tyre curing press’ at Alfred Herbert’s factory near Bangalore for production of high performance radial tyres. It is the first such licence granted by TKEL to another company worldwide. The link comes as market leaders set their sights on the Indian tyre market.
