TPMS creates 200 jobs in Antrim
Tyre technology firm Schrader Electronics has announced that it is to build a new factory at Carrickfergus in Antrim (Northern Ireland), which will create 200 jobs. This new 4,350 square metre factory will provide additional capacity to support the production of Schrader’s tyre pressure monitoring system at its facility in Antrim, which already employs 300.
“This second factory allows us to meet increasing global orders for our systems by more than doubling our production area, and also provides additional facilities to progress other exciting new project developments,” said Stephen McClelland, Schrader managing director.
