Infineon “Is World Market Leader” In Pressure Sensors

German company Infineon Technologies has a portfolio of products designed to increase safety on the road. This includes tyre pressure sensors which transmit details of pressure, temperature, etc to a dashboard display. Infineon is acquiring Norwegian manufacturer SensoNor and the company claims to be the worldwide market leader in the tyre pressure sensor segment, with long-term agreements with a number of car manufacturers.
