Viborg Acquires Pneu-Stössel

The shareholders of Pneu-Stössel AG (Schlieren) have sold their eight outlets to the strongest independent tyre dealer organisation in Europe, Danish Viborg Gruppen. With its subsidiary Pneu Matti AG (Dietlikon) Viborg Gruppen was already one of the leading Swiss tyre dealers. Integrating Pneu-Stössel creates Switzerland’s market leader among independent tyre dealers with 21 outlets and more than 140 employees.

Viborg Gruppen takes over all Pneu-Stössel employees and all outlets and so expands its Swiss network. For Pneu Matti and Pneu-Stössel this merger under the umbrella of Viborg Gruppen creates a well spread and high quality tyre service in Switzerland, joined with the resources of a European network. Viborg Gruppen already has outlets in Danmark, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland.
