CASCAR Supplied By Goodyear

Goodyear is to become the official tyre supplier to Canadian stock car racing series CASCAR Castrol Super Series. This is the latest in a line of stock car involvement by Goodyear in North America. CASCAR and Goodyear reached agreement in March 2000 whereby Goodyear will supply short track racing tyres with the latest technology, including sidewall and bead construction.

The new Eagle tyres were developed exclusively for the CASCAR series at Goodyear’s Akron technical centre and are being manufactured at Goodyear’s race tyre plant in Chile. The tyres were tested in February in Florida and both Goodyear and CASCAR were delighted with the results, as this announcement shows. The CASCAR Castrol Super Series includes 20 events, running from early May to early September Designed in the USA, made in Chile and raced in Canada – Goodyear’s new CASCAR Eagles represent a truly pan-Americas effort.
