Goodyear Farm Tires podcast celebrates Cheshire farming family
12th March 2025Cheshire farming family Dennis and Rachael Hughes, along with their children Andrew Rutter and Emma Jones, are the latest guests on Goodyear Farm Tires’ Talking Crop podcast. The family runs Clayhanger Hall Farm between Crewe and Haslington, which has been owned by their family since 1923. They are the third UK family to feature the new podcast, launched by Goodyear Farm Tires to celebrate farming families across the UK.

We all know that world-leading tyremakers like Bridgestone and Michelin generate the most turnover from tyres, but did you know that Lego make the most tyres by volume? Pub-quiz winning knowledge aside, like the global market leaders, the simultaneously largest and smallest tyre manufacturer in the world (Lego Group) has said it will move to improve its sustainability and – for its part – is moving to make tyres from recycled fishing nets, ropes, and engine oil.
